The contest is organized by doppler (H. Würflingsdobler GmbH, A.-Kolping-Str. 3, D-84359 Simbach am Inn) as the operator of the dopplerschirme accounts on Facebook and Instagram (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). Participation in the contest is only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, the participant expressly acknowledges these participation conditions. Meta Platforms Inc. (formerly Facebook Inc.) is not affiliated with this contest. Meta is not available as a contact for the contest. There are no legal claims against Meta.

Promotion Period

Participation is possible from Sunday, October 15, 2023 (from publication) until Sunday, October 22, 2023 (23:59) on the dopplerschirme accounts on Instagram (www.instagram.com/dopplerschirme) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/dopplerschirme). Participation in the contest is free and independent of the purchase of goods or services.

Prize

Each participant has the chance to win one (1) umbrella from the new Safety Collection. Two (2) winners will be drawn - one (1) winner on Facebook and one (1) winner on Instagram. doppler does not guarantee product availability during the contest period, and the product design may vary depending on availability.

Eligibility and Exclusion

Eligible participants are natural persons residing in Austria or Germany, who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation. Mandatory data for the delivery of the prize must be provided correctly. Employees of the organizer and involved agencies, as well as their relatives (spouse, life partner, and relatives in a straight line), are excluded from participation. Participation on behalf of third parties is not allowed. doppler is entitled to remove comments that violate Instagram guidelines, Austrian or German law, our etiquette, and/or copyright without notice upon notification. Furthermore, doppler may exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons, such as a violation of the participation conditions, attempted manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. If the conditions for exclusion are met, prizes can also be retroactively revoked or reclaimed. Exclusion for justified reasons does not give the participant any claims against doppler. Legal recourse is excluded.

Winner Selection

The prize will be drawn after the execution period, excluding the public and ensuring randomness. Two winners will be selected from all participants.

Processing

Winners will be notified by direct message and provided with the email address of the responsible agency. Winners must provide their contact and address details to this email address within 5 working days (from the notification of winning). The winner is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the data submitted. There is no obligation to accept the prize. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of age (copy of identity card) before sending the prize. In case of an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the organizer will only make one additional (2nd) delivery attempt. If there is no response to the winner's notification within 5 calendar days or if there is a second unsuccessful delivery attempt, the claim to the prize will expire, and a replacement winner will be selected following the same procedure. Cash payment, payment in other goods, or exchange of prizes is not possible. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

Miscellaneous

The organizer reserves the right to change these participation conditions without prior notice or to cancel the contest without giving reasons if, for technical, legal, or other reasons, the proper execution of the contest can no longer be guaranteed. doppler is not responsible for the delayed receipt of the prize by the winner or for the loss of the prize in the mail.

Privacy Notice

The personal data collected as part of the contest participation will be used by the organizer exclusively for the processing of the contest (e.g., winner determination, winner notification, prize delivery). The legal basis for data processing in the context of contests is generally Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR. Participation in the contest is not possible without this data.

Recipient/ Categories of Recipients

Disclosure to third parties only occurs if it is necessary for the processing of the contest (e.g., sending the prize through a logistics company) or for the publication of the winners. We generally exclude further disclosure to third parties.

Storage Period

After the end of the contest and announcement of the winners, the personal data of the participants will be deleted. In the case of material prizes, the data of the winners will be kept for the duration of the statutory warranty claims in order to enable rectification or replacement in case of defects.
